The bachelor degree programme for professional skills focusing on interactive media and business administration

The Interactive Media & Games Business degree programme uniquely combines expertise in interactive media (XR, VR, AR), artificial intelligence and games with in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of business administration. It integrates current technologies and trends to prepare students for the future challenges of the industry.

In addition to agile project management methods, game design and balancing, the curriculum also includes modules on sustainability and start-up management in the development and marketing of interactive media. This includes the ethical implications and legal issues surrounding the use of AI.

Start-up skills in focus

The degree programme places great emphasis on entrepreneurial thinking and promotes students' start-up skills. This prepares students to face challenges in an agile manner, whether in existing companies or in their own projects and start-ups in the digital sector of the creative industries.

Another focus is on adapting to the global market. Students learn how to successfully position their products and services in different markets through international marketing, localisation and cultural adaptation.

Co-operations with practice insiders

Increased industry cooperation, internships and project work with leading companies in the creative industries ensure a practical and application-oriented approach. Selected representatives of this industry contribute current knowledge and experience directly to the knowledge transfer as lecturers.

Through the (conceptual) development of interactive (game) environments and their preparation for productive application, graduates are enabled to support production management in the selection of suitable business models and to provide advice on their strategic orientation. Graduates can actively shape the entire process of interactive media & game development from the idea to production and marketing.

With the curriculum (german only), graduates of the Interactive Media and Games Business degree programme have excellent job prospects, not only in the digital sector of the creative industries, but also in traditional companies and on international markets.
