Learning outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • understand the role and contribution of strategy and HRM to successful organizational performance
  • apply the basic framework for strategy analysis to recognize, describe, and analyse the key characteristics of the strategy of a business organisation
  • explain the role of HR and how it can contribute to strategy analysis, development as well as its implementation
  • analyse the interaction of strategy and human resource management and explain strategic links (fit) and best practices
