Assessment methods and criteria

Module grade is composed of 50% each of units M2.3a and M2.3b:
M2.3a (ILV): 70% final exam (closed book) and 30% assessment of continuous performance: homework group work - application example in project management (25%), participation & performance 5%.
M2.3b (UE): 3 group exercises 30% each with presentation; participation & performance 10%

Learning outcome

After successful completion of the module, students can:

  • apply project planning and management methods
  • use various planning tools efficiently
  • apply qualitative methods of policy advice and use them in a targeted manner
  • apply the basics of capacity and resource planning in project management
  • reflect on and, if necessary, improve structures and processes that are necessary in projects, as well as critically review project results with regard to their achievement of objectives
  • independently develop future-oriented visions and roadmaps for their implementation with the help of qualitative methods of policy evaluation
  • manage communication with internal and external partners
