After successful completion of the course, students can

  • name and explain economic terms related to the topics covered
  • describe and interpret general quantitative input (e.g. sales figures, trends)
  • present general economic processes and companies,
  • explain internal and external factors influencing businesses (e.g. stakeholders)
  • describe and explain methods of corporate management,
  • use terminology relevant to the subject, and apply general business language skills
  • apply their knowledge of English (business) grammar to business topics and situations
  • communicate formally and informally in writing
  • analyse and discuss mini-case studies on HR management.
