After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
Give an overview of the history of organisation.
Name the most essential organisational theories.
Describe the most important organisational approaches.
Describe the most important forms of differentiation and design of organisations.
Identify the implications of earlier organisational forms and concepts for contemporary organisational issues.
Discuss current trends and challenges in organisation.
Describe HRM from a holistic point of view and identify important framework conditions.
Identify demographic developments (generation management) and trends and present their effects on tasks and topics of HR management.
Explain the different fields of HR management and discuss processes and instruments in the following areas:
- Recruiting/staffing
- Personnel introduction/onboarding
- Personnel development
- Personnel assessment & leadership through goal setting
