Dr. Thorsten Haendler

Senior Researcher and Lecturer, Head of Media Informatics and HR Intelligence & Analytics, City of Vienna Competence team "New Work, New Business"

Thorsten Haendler is Head of Media Informatics and HR Intelligence & Analytics as well as Senior Researcher in the City of Vienna competence team “New Work, New Business”. As a lecturer, he mainly teaches in the study programs "Interactive Media & Games Business", "Project Management and IT" and „Digital HR Management and Applied Labour Law“.

Thorsten Haendler received his PhD in Information Systems from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). His research interests cover fields of Software Engineering and Information Systems, including Software Architecture and Refactoring, Model-driven Engineering, Process Management, Serious Games and Gamification, Software-Engineering Education/Training as well as Digital Technologies.
