3D-Academic Avatar (ACATAR): Playfully depict and individualize learning success with 3D avatars

Abstract:

An ACATAR is intended to enable students to personalize a basic ACATAR during the course of their studies on the basis of positive progress or individual events, such as completing a semester abroad, unlocked items, which should, among other things, provide an increased incentive to acquire the respective course-specific key competencies. At the end of the course, the ACATAR is materialized using 3D printing and presented at the graduation ceremony. The location-based (serious) game "QuizeRo" and a new gamified use case to be developed in the "Technical Sales Management" degree course will be linked to the ACATAR system.
