Overview of permeability
What do we understand by permeability?
We embrace diversity and promote it by making it easy to study and ensuring a high quality of learning. This is achieved through fair access to studies and equal opportunities through support, counselling and learning services. That is permeability. A high-quality degree programme should be possible for all committed individuals.
We support all those who are enthusiastic about learning and interested in a career and help to equalise differences in skills.
While maintaining a high quality of learning, we particularly strengthen:
- First Generation Students
- Individuals who face particular challenges because they belong to a group that is underrepresented in their study programme (whether due to religion, neurodiversity, age, gender, geographical origin or other aspects see Indicators and Descriptors for the Principles of the Social Dimension in the European Higher Education Area).
- Disadvantaged or vulnerable students
- People with additional burdens such as caring responsibilities or work.
Permeability offers and studyability in the student life cycle
