The promotion of permeability and learning quality is a particular concern of the UAS of the BFI Vienna, especially as the student groups are highly diverse. Accordingly, the 4-year project has three main objectives: Closing the skills gaps among first-year students by further developing and expanding the bridging courses, increasing the ability to study by establishing, expanding and further developing "learning services" and increasing permeability and educational diversity by professionalizing the recognition of skills including non-formal and informal specialist knowledge.
