Executive MBA General Management - Management Accounting

Accounting is not only a central component of business management, but is also essential for every company in order to guide the planning, control and management of profitability and liquidity in companies. As an (internal) company information system, (external) accounting serves to systematically record and monitor cash flows and performance flows, as well as to account for the company's activities and provide a basis for decision-making for external parties such as investors, banks or financial authorities. The need to present the company's situation in a predetermined manner also underpins the importance of communicating the content of the provisions of commercial and tax law within this specialisation. The same applies to the principles and rules for responsible corporate management and control geared towards sustainable value creation.
