Financial support for short mobilities
Short mobilities are in many cases self-financed. Under certain conditions, funding through Erasmus+ is possible. Students can receive funding for a maximum of 12 months of physical mobility per study cycle (Bachelor, Master):
Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are short exchange programmes organised by at least three Higher Education Institutions (HEI) with ECHE from at least three programme countries.
The funding criteria for BIPs are:
- Minimum 5 days abroad at the partner HEI
- Maximum 30 days abroad at the partner HEI
- Compulsory virtual component allowing for a joint online learning experience and teamwork
- Successful participation is recognised in the degree programme
- Amount of funding: EUR 79.00 per day of the stay abroad plus
Additional funding:
- Green mobility grant
- There are special grants for students with chronic illness/disability and students with children

Erasmus+ Blended Mobility
Students who are not able to complete a full semester abroad (e.g. professional activity, chronic illness or care obligations) can organise a short mobility to a partner university as blended mobility.
The eligibility criteria for Blended Mobility are:
- Consent of the host university
- At least 5 days abroad at the partner university
- Maximum 30 days abroad at the partner university
- Compulsory virtual component, enabling a joint online learning experience and teamwork
- Recognition of at least 3 ECTS points in the degree programme
Amount of funding: EUR 79.00 per day of the stay abroad and a travel cost support depending on the distance to the host university.

- There are special grants for students with chronic illness/disability and students with children.
