Our Production Management for Film, Television and Streaming bachelor degree offers you precisely this combination – an in-demand mix of skills and knowledge that is rarely offered on courses for this career specialisation in Europe. The programme concentrates on areas where the business and creative sides of the industry meet, and also stands out for its innovative teaching approach. Many of the lecturers come from the film and media industry, which ensures a strong practical focus: our teaching staff include producers of high-profile films, television programmes and streaming shows for example.

As a graduate you will be able to:

  • plan, organise and supervise film, TV and streaming productions using business methods and in line with the applicable legal requirements.
  • devise strategies and measures for financing audiovisual projects as well as business lines at media companies.
  • carry out operational planning for films, animations and cross-media productions.
  • plan and implement marketing strategies and sales activities.
  • support collaboration between producers, clients and production units, and supervise their work and related operations.
  • lead and manage the execution of creative projects in multi-professional contexts by employing creative techniques and leveraging your social and communication skills.
  • carry out and assume primary responsibility for quality assurance and production management control for media projects and production processes.
  • independently manage and oversee financing for complex projects and production processes using risk management and management control methods.
  • take responsibility and adopt a flexible approach for the development of your own skills and expertise, in line with professional requirements and corporate codes of conduct.

There is also a double degree agreement between the degree programme and the renowned Furtwangen University (HFU) from the 5th semester onwards.
