Researchers at the FH of the BFI Vienna

Karl Wörle has been a lecturer and Head of Department for Business Law at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna since 2021.

Previously, he worked for 8 years in several renowned law firms in Vienna, where he advised on company acquisitions and drafted international joint venture agreements. He has provided legal advice to listed companies, conducted complex civil proceedings and handled various corporate insolvencies.

Karl Wörle studied law at the University of Innsbruck and the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). During his doctorate, he worked at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Innsbruck and conducted research for his comparative law dissertation at the University of Geneva (Switzerland).

Karl Wörle's teaching and research focuses on corporate law, procedural law and European law. He is particularly interested in the combination of theory and practice, the inclusion of international legal developments and the economic analysis of legal issues.
