DI Fritz Stallinger

Lector

Fritz Stallinger is the holder of the endowed professorship "Multi-project management and integrated management" and head of the department of the same name in the "Project management and organization" course at the University of Applied Sciences of the BFI Vienna.

Fritz Stallinger studied computer science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) and began his professional career as a consultant in the European automotive industry in the areas of product and strategy planning and coordination of new vehicle development projects. He then worked as a research assistant, lecturer and EU research project coordinator at the JKU. Before joining the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, Fritz Stallinger worked as a senior researcher, project developer and project manager as well as research group leader in the field of process and quality management at a research institute for software engineering. Fritz Stallinger also teaches at the Vienna University of Technology, is active as a reviewer and evaluator within the framework programs of the European Union and as a reviewer and member of the program committees of several conferences and journals and is a member of the balloting groups of various ISO/IEC/IEEE standards.

His research interests include process and quality management, architecture and reuse, requirements engineering and product management as well as strategic and economic aspects of software and systems engineering. Within the BFI Vienna University of Applied Sciences, his research interests and activities focus on the interface of project, process and quality management in project-oriented companies, agile and hybrid methods of project management, as well as the integration of innovation and product management with multi-project management, especially in the context of software development and digitalization.
