Abstract:

The 3-year project aims to utilise the cognitive, motivational and socially integrative potential of virtual teaching and learning environments through the use of ‘virtual worlds’ in teaching and to design these as inclusive learning spaces with a focus on gender and diversity. The focus is on developing an assessment methodology, holding pilot courses, creating use cases and digital templates, carrying out counselling, further training and support activities for teachers and students and publishing project findings.
