Brief description
- concepts of sustainability and responsible conduct: sustainability and sustainable development, corporate ethics, leadership ethics and business ethics; triple bottom line (ecology, economy, social issues);
- tension between economy – ecology – social issues; tension between „factual constraint” and personal responsibility; stakeholder orientation, ethics and responsible action as a cross-cutting issue;
- instruments, materiality and impact; CSR, SDGs;
- implementation in the project context: the role of projects in sustainable development, project sustainability impact analysis, project sustainability management plan

Learning outcome
After successfully completing this course, students will be able to
- explain how management and project management are embedded in a broad context of economic, environmental and social factors,
- explain key concepts of sustainability, equity and decent work, especially in projects, and the impact of their (subsequent) professional actions on society and the natural environment,
- evaluate their contribution to social responsibility and long-term sustainable development, and apply these in decision-making as managers.
