Assessment methods and criteria
Continuous assessment:
- Written reflection report (85 %): convincing demonstration of quality, based on topicality and relevance, degree of innovation, methodological approach as well as theoretical relevance; formal design.
- Constructive participation in the reflection phase (15 %)

After successful completion of the course, students can
- name scientific quality requirements for a master thesis (1),
- independently apply appropriate methods and techniques for quality assurance of scientific work (3),
- defend their own research work (5),
- analyse their own and others’ research and assess and optimise it with regard to scientific quality and formal criteria (6).
