Assessment methods and criteria

Written final exam (100 %).
Content criteria: Degree of problem identification and problem characterisation, complexity of solutions in terms of technical and methodological competence.
Formal criteria: Comprehensiveness of answers, correct use of technical terms, and independent presentation of results.

After successful completion of the course, students can

  • name and explain basic logistics technologies in transport, handling and warehousing (2),
  • identify and analyse qualitative concepts of logistics on the basis of practical applications (4),
  • identify and explain key quantitative concepts of logistics (2)
  • explain basic concepts of supply chain management (2),
  • explain and analyse business practice on the basis of basic concepts of supply chain management (4),
  • explain different stages of development of logistics management and supply chain management (2),
  • name and explain links between corporate strategy, competitive strategies and logistics and supply chain management (2),
  • name and explain basic business models of logistics service companies (2),
  • know and explain design alternatives of networks in logistics and supply chain management (2).
