• Written final exam (70%, open questions, calculations) • Continuous assessment (30%): individual and group work, presentations, quizzes, active contribution • Content criteria: degree of problem identification and problem characterisation, complexity of solutions in terms of subject and methodological competence. • Formal criteria: completeness of answers, linguistic differentiation, and independence of results presentation

After successful completion of the course, students can • name and explain the terminology, the modelling and analysis methods of operations management with a focus on process management, quality management, capacity management and inventory management (1,2) • analyse problems of operational performance using analytical methods and quantitative models and develop possible solutions (1,2,3) • name, explain and recognise uncertainties and risks in processes, evaluate them, reduce them or hedge against them (1,2,3,4,5)
