• Written final exam (70%, open questions, calculations) • Continuous assessment (30%): individual and group work, presentations, quizzes, active contribution in class • Content criteria: degree of problem identification and problem characterisation, complexity of solutions in terms of subject and methodological competence. • Formal criteria: completeness of answers, linguistic differentiation, and independence of results presentation

After successful completion of the course, students can • name and explain (1,2) basic conditions for the organisation of transports for the transport modes o road o rail o air o water • name and explain central technologies for the recording and control of traffic in traffic management (1,2) • name and explain important technologies for the identification of objects in logistic processes and process chains (1,2) • name and explain basic conditions and requirements for the automation of traffic (2,) • name, explain and basically model the planning, management, and control of intermodal transport (1,2,3) • analyse the requirements for logistic process chains and model design alternatives (4,5) • name and explain safety requirements for logistical processes (1,2)
