Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment breakdown of the bachelor thesis - max. 100 points in total: • disposition (max. 10 points) • written participation in class (max. 15 points) • formal design (max. 5 points) • content (max. 50 points) • participation in class (max. 10 points) • presentation and defence of the bachelor thesis (max. 10 points) The assessment criteria are defined in the assessment protocol for bachelor theses at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. Bachelor Seminar 1 is assessed with the grade "successfully attended", provided that a performance was achieved that clearly goes beyond mere attendance. Bachelor seminar 2 is assessed with the grade "very good", "good", "satisfactory", "sufficient" or "insufficient" on the basis of the performances from semesters 1 and 2.

Learning outcome
After successful completion of the course, students can • identify, delineate, and structure a problem from transport, traffic, logistics and supply chain management • develop, present, and discuss an outline, a research design, and a disposition for the research project • identify, qualitatively assess, and consider suitable sources for dealing with the research problem • select from the spectrum of research and analysis methods the one that is adequate for the concrete problem chosen/assigned
