Learning outcome
After successful completion of the course, students can:
- describe and explain the development of the European Union (EU) and interpret it by means of integration theories
- explain and distinguish between the roles and competences of actors along the policy cycle of Multilevel Governance
- trace and explain the main decision-making procedures
- explain the main features of the EU's main policies and their development
- identify crucial questions on the state of play of the EU
- evaluate current shortcomings and develop own arguments on possible treaty reforms
