INTERNATIONAL

Welcome to the homepage of the International Office of the FH BFI Vienna!

This year the Erasmus+ programme, one of the most successful programmes of the European Union celebrates its 30th anniversary. The original Erasmus began in 1987 as an exchange programme that gave higher education students a taste of life and learning abroad. Today, Erasmus+ offers opportunities across Europe and beyond to individuals and organizations in education, training, youth and sport.

The UAS BFI Vienna has been actively involved in several areas of the programme since its foundation. We are looking forward to meeting many more international guests and being part of interesting projects.

Happy birthday Erasmus+.

Internationalisation is key to many activities at the FH BFI Vienna, and is a recurrent theme in teaching, research and administration.

We are convinced that cultural diversity is an asset for our university, and that international exchange and international networking constitute a prerequisite for acting successfully in a global context now and in future.

Internationalisation at the FH BFI Vienna is firmly rooted in the Bologna System, which we have sucessfully put into practice. The fact that we have been awarded the ECTS-Label and the Diploma Supplement Label is proof that we are heading in the right direction. In the International Office of the FH BFI Vienna all our international activities converge.

The functions of the International Office are varied:

  • Strategic planning and implementation of all internationalisation activities
  • Councelling and looking after incoming und outgoing students, teaching faculty and staff
  • Widening our network of international partnerships
  • Liaising with more than 80 partners all over the world
  • Developing and implementing international projects
