Lecturer and head of department

Michael Thöndl is a political scientist working primarily on the history of ideas, who has distinguished himself in particular with research on the German historical philosopher and political writer Oswald Spengler and has published works in the following areas: political theory and the history of ideas, Italy, totalitarianism, fascism, "conservative revolution", university and educational history, the history of business administration and the European Union.

Michael Thöndl is Head of the Department of Political Science at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna and lecturer at the University of Innsbruck, which granted him a teaching license as a private lecturer in political science in 2011.
