Project Management Championship - Team der FH für Finale in Vilnius qualifiziert

At the Project Management Championship organized by the IPMA Young Crew, the team from the degree program Project Management & IT successfully secured their spot in the finals in Vilnius, outperforming their competitors.

The Project Management Championship (PMC) is a competition format for future project managers that has already been successfully implemented by the IPMA Young Crew in numerous countries. For the first time, it was also held in Austria. On February 19, 2020, the three best teams gathered at the Austrian finals, hosted by the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. The team that delivered the best performance in processing and presenting the PM Case Study, provided by the Federal Computing Center, earned the title of PM Champion Austria and the right to represent Austria in the international finals in Lithuania in June 2020.

The team of our students impressed the jury – and won the PM Championship.

"The expert jury highlighted the winning team’s outstanding knowledge of project management methods. This underscores the exceptional competence of the students in the Project Management & IT program, providing an excellent foundation for a career as a project manager," noted the organizers.

"We, the entire degree program team, are extremely proud of the impressive performance of our students and wish them great success in the international finals in Vilnius, Lithuania!" expressed department head and lecturer Christian Steinreiber.
