CC ART FESTIVAL

The CC ART FESTIVAL is a transcultural and interdisciplinary project that is planned and implemented annually by business and design students from Belgium, Germany, Finland and Austria as part of an Erasmus+-funded Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The participating universities alternate annually as hosts.

This year, the international CC ART Festival is entitled "Young Art meets Science" and the UAS BFI Vienna is hosting the event for the first time.

We are more than honoured to be a partner of the Vienna Climate Biennale with our event, which aims to use the vision and power of art to promote a paradigm shift for a future worth living on our planet from 5 April to 14 July 2024.

Video installation: Can you hear me?

Our main contribution to the Climate Biennale is the video installation "Can you hear me?", which deals with our consumer society and its consequences. It was created by students under the direction of media artist Felix Dennhardt and in collaboration with the Cuban music ensemble Interactivo de la Habana. The videos were created from "found footage" and reflect the students' consumer behaviour as well as their thoughts and visions on climate change.

Open to the public in the following period:

  • 24. April 2024 (2:00 - 9:00 pm)
  • 25.-26. April 2024 (8:00 am - 9:00pm)
  • 27. April 2024 (8:00am - 5:00pm)
