Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment breakdown of the bachelor thesis - max. 100 points in total: • disposition (max. 10 points) • written participation in class (max. 15 points) • formal design (max. 5 points) • content (max. 50 points) • participation in class (max. 10 points) • presentation and defence of the bachelor thesis (max. 10 points) The assessment criteria are defined in the assessment protocol for bachelor theses at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. Bachelor Seminar 1 is assessed with the grade "successfully attended", provided that a performance was achieved that clearly goes beyond mere attendance. Bachelor seminar 2 is assessed with the grade "very good", "good", "satisfactory", "sufficient" or "insufficient" on the basis of the performances from the first and second seminar.

After successful completion of the course, students can • solve a problem from transport, traffic, logistics and supply chain management step by step • apply the appropriate research and analysis methods for the chosen/assigned concrete problem as far as possible independently and correctly • solve the research problem, prepare the results, and interpret them in a technically correct and logically coherent manner • prepare, present, and defend an independent scientific paper
