Risk management, banking and corporate finance are among the core businesses of the banking and finance industry. The focus of the bachelor programme Banking and Finance is to grasp, both practically and theoretically, the complex relationships in the sector and the derivations thereof. The programme further entails extensive knowledge of the insurance industry. This combination is the foundation stone of your career set in the banking and finance sector.

Online admission test (multiple choice) (reading comprehension, English, mathematics/logic, business administration and and a degree-programme-specific section)

Admission requirements

Austrian secondary school leaving certificate (Matura) or
Vocational matriculation qualification or
General university entrance examination for social and economics sciences or
Foreign equivalent of an Austrian school-leaving certificate (The legalization list can be found here under downloads.) or
Subject-relevant apprenticeship or graduation from a school for intermediate vocational education (BMS) with additional examinations in English and mathematics or
Non-specialist apprenticeship qualification or qualification from a vocational secondary school plus specialist knowledge and skills from relevant professional practice (to be proven by a portfolio) and additional examinations in German, English and maths

For this degree programme you require English CEFR-competence level C1. Your English skills will be evaluated within the admission test. If necessary, English language skills must be proven in a supplementary examination. German language competence ist not necessary for this programme.
