After successful completion of the course, students can:

  • illustrate the main idea of simple texts giving information and of short, simple descriptions, especially if they contain pictures that facilitate understanding.
  • fill in a personal information sheet.
  • write simple messages to friends.
  • follow what is said at a very slow rate, with careful diction and long pauses to allow time to make sense of it.
  • relate basic information or take part in a basic factual conversation on a predictable topic
  • discover the culture of the respective country/countries in order to successfully apply the principles cultural codes in business situations
