By sending your registration you confirm that you have read and taken note of the information on data protection and the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR:

The event will be held as a video conference with the video conferencing solution Zoom.us, recorded and then published.

In order to participate, a first name must be given when entering the event (it may also be a pseudonym). Your full name and your institution will not be published by us during the video conference unless you provide this information yourself (e.g. via the chat function or microphone). If you ask a question via the chat function or the microphone (audio connection), it will be visible to all participants and later on to all people watching the recording. Therefore, if you have confidential questions or use personal data of third parties in your inquiry, please contact Ingrid.pleschberger@fh-vie.ac.at by phone or e-mail.

During the video conference, your user behaviour is recorded, in particular when you enter the video conference, whether and what questions you ask via chat or audio connection, whether and how you participated in voting.

Legal basis of data processing: legitimate interests (Art. 6/1/f GDPR), which are seen in the fulfilment of the educational mandate and the enactment of the qualification by using contemporary media.

Data recipients: staff members of the Fachhochschule des BFI Wien, Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (data transfer to third countries: USA: zoom.us/privacy)

Duration and purpose of the storage of your personal data: Your data provided during registration will be processed and stored for a period of one year for the preparation and follow-up of the event, for the transmission of event documents, for the execution and documentation of the event. The event itself will be recorded and published on the Internet, including the contributions you have made (photos, audios, chat contributions).

Consent to recording and photo permission:

By submitting your registration, you agree that the video conference may be recorded and screenshot photos may be taken for the purpose of making them available to other participants.

You acknowledge that the recordings may contain the created chat transcripts in whole or in part and that the content may be used to document the event. By submitting your registration for the event, you agree that your data (name, contributions through active participation via audio or chat, photos) may be published in connection with the documentation of the event, in publications and/or on the Internet. Your other data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties.

Your rights as a person concerned:

You have the right to rectification, right of access, erasure, restriction of processing, to object and the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, under the conditions specified in the corresponding provisions.
