Internationalisation and quality: a comprehensive approach through CeQuInt

Monday, 9th of November 2020 online via Zoom organised by UAS BFI Vienna

Internationalisation of higher education (HE) is a complex phenomenon and strongly influenced by the context in which it takes place. Hence, internationalisation of teaching and learning varies in different HE settings. Nevertheless, it should always have an impact on the quality of education and on the enhancement of international and intercultural competencies of students, graduates, and staff.

The Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQuInt) provides a framework to this comprehensive approach, both for programmes and institutions alike; this framework mirrors the concept of “internationalisation of the curriculum” and can serve as “guidebook” for the internationalisation of teaching and learning at Austrian higher education institutions.

This event will provide insights into the structure and purpose of CeQuInt and how it can be used to facilitate the internationalisation of teaching and learning of higher education institutions and the enhancement of international and intercultural competencies for all students and staff.

You should participate in this event if...

  • you are interested in quality management of internationalisation
  • you want to know more about how you can use the CeQuInt approach when implementing or enhancing internationalisation of teaching and learning
  • you are interested in what other institutions experienced during the CeQuInt accreditation process and how they used the CeQuInt framework to enhance internationalisation of teaching and learning at their institution
