Policy Analysis in Europe

Upon completion of this course, the students can:

  • evaluate policy development
  • translate policy analysis into better policy by deeply understanding policy problems using the Policy Analysis Framework and Multiple Streams Framework.
Students will gain an appreciation for the difficulties of designing policy interventions that can survive not only mistaken assumptions about cause and effect, but also flawed implementation processes. Therefore, the course familiarises students with monitoring tools and evidence-based impact evaluation methods and their practical application in real world scenarios. Through hands-on assignments and conducting their own policy analysis, students will assimilate with up-to-date technics of policy analysis.
