After successful completion of the course, students can

  • participate and chair meetings conducted in English and about current international business topics, face-to-face and online
  • participate and chair negotiations conducted in English and about current international business topics, face-to-face and online
  • use online communication tools/networks appropriately and successfully •successfully use the language of meetings and negotiations
  • determine their position in a meeting/ a negotiation (ideal outcome, BATNA, bottom line)
  • apply negotiation tactics accordingly
  • negotiate in writing
  • understand how to proceed in international/intercultural meetings/ negotiations and apply these strategies successfully
  • read and understand work-relevant literature in English
  • understand and discuss texts dealing with complex economic and business topics
  • understand and apply situation- and topic-appropriate vocabulary orally and in writing
  • correctly use basic and advanced English grammar.
