International Weeks

Do you study besides work? Do you thus have to juggle university, work, and maybe even family life? Would you still like to study or do an internship abroad?

The FH bfi Vienna cares about facilitating international experience with tuition especially for its working students, which is why we offer them short-term mobility options. Students have the opportunity to exchange ideas and gather international experience when they meet international students from several European countries in our International Weeks programme (usually lasting several days).

Please take a look at our following offers:

International Marketing Weeks

Together with the EPHEC Brussels, the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, the IBA Kolding, Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule Künzelsau (Germany), Lahti University of Applied Sciences, IUT St. Denis, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, BA School of Business and Finance Riga and ESCIP La Malassise, the FH bfi Vienna has been in the International Marketing Network for several years.

Every spring, the partner universities organise one-week events focussing on project-oriented appropaches to marketing, for which only a small participation fee is charged. Together with their international fellow-students, students can work on marketing problems in English, thereby obtaining credits for the following semester. In addition to these projects, excursions and a social programme are also on offer.

Bachelor students of the AGHR, BAFI, EWUF, LOGT, PIT and TVM programmes constitute the main target group.

The Marketing Weeks are promoted by the International Office every November. More information available from claudia.redtenbacher@fh-vie.ac.at.

Social Europe Days

Together with the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, Leuven University College,Malaga University, the Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften München (Munich, Germany), Tallinn University and the Zurich Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, the FH bfi Vienna offers a stay in Belgium which lasts several days. Students can work on the following workshop topics:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • More People at Work
  • Labor Health and Safety

The students can already prepare the chosen topic in light of their own national situation before the Social Europe Days start in order to continue their work during their stay in Belgium in international teams.

The European dimension of the Social Europe Day project is borne out by lectures about "Europe and the EU", excursions to the EU Parliament and the Palais de Justice in Brussels, as well as discussions with MEPs. A varied social programme offers the opportunity to network in international settings.

Next Social Europe Day: 7 May-10 May 2012
