The logistics study programme provides industry-specific skills, and economic knowledge, encouraging cross-disciplinary thinking and understanding as well. All this is sought after by enterprises worldwide.

Even before I finished my studies I obtain a post in the logistics department of one of the largest Austrian enterprises.

The graduates can:

  • build and implement internal and cross-plant supply and logistics chains
  • draw up and realise logistic and transport systems
  • calculate logistic, transport and traffic services for national and international calls for bids
  • draw up stock and inventory management projectsmeasures
  • draw up business location and regional planning projects
  • assess the sustainable nature of logistic processes and realise corresponding change plans evaluate and carry out cooperation options like partnerships and alliances
  • run R&D projects in logistics and transport management
  • advise enterprises and politicians in charge in logistics, transport and traffic matters

The programme in brief:

Academic degree: Master of Arts in Business, MA
Admission procedure: written application, MC test, structured interview
Admission requirements: completion of a law/social/Engineering studies/business/geography/industrial logistics degree (in Austria or equivalent degree abroad; proven qualifications in logistics, transport, traffic (4 ECTS), business administration (10 ECTS), law studies (4 ECTS), IT (4 ECTS), English (4 ECTS, native speakers are exempt)

Duration of studies: 3 semesters
