Financial Support Traineeships

Erasmus+ offers financial support for different types of traineeships

Erasmus+ students receive an Erasmus+ grant. The amount of the grant depends on the living costs in the host country. In addition, Erasmus+ students are encouraged to use sustainable means of transportation and can apply for the Green Mobility grant, if they travel to and from their host universities by a sustainable means of transportation. Since inclusion and diversity are key priorities of the EU, Erasmus+ also provides additional funding for students with children and students with physical, mental or health-related conditions.

Erasmus+ Traineeship International

Erasmus+ traineeships can also be done in Erasmus+ partner countries (countries outside of the EU). For a traineeship in an Erasmus+ partner country the grant can amount up to 700.- EUR per month (depending on the country). However, due to budgetary restrictions the number of grants for traineeships in Erasmus+ partner countries is limited. For further information please contact the Outgoing Mobility Coordinator.

Erasmus+ Graduate Traineeship

You can also receive an Erasmus+ grant for a traineeship that you do after you finish your studies at UAS BFI Vienna. However, this Erasmus+ traineeship must start and be completed within 12 months after your graduation and it is a prerequisite that you apply while you are still enrolled as a student of the UAS BFI Vienna.

Information on other possibilities to receive financial support can be found on www.grants.at.
