Blocked form, increased hybrid component, blended learning elements, formulation of own proposals for policy field design on a project basis, independent implementation of a case study; independent organisation, moderation and reflection of expert hearings with the help of relevant institutions in terms of subject and topics
Prüfungsmethode
Presentation within the framework of project-related group work (60%) and submission of a case study as a home assignment (40%)

Lernergebnisse der Lehrveranstaltung
After successful completion of the module, students can: • outline the central developments of a selected current economic policy area of European integration with a focus on decommodifying market design and use them in the country-specific and European advisory context, • describe the challenges of cross-border harmonisation or coordination and their limits in the respective policy field and apply them to the situation of selected European states, • analyse the functions, options and frictions of national and supranational measures to reduce the dependence of the individual on the market against the background of European actors' interests (e.g. business associations, trade unions, welfare organisations, consumer protection centres), • classify and assess the significance of the state in the application of economic policy measures and critically examine their effectiveness, • on this basis, devise their own proposals and/or hypotheses for the future location and positioning of the policy field on a project basis and design measures in concrete cases to overcome identified challenges
