Terms and conditions: BeSt³ Vienna 2026 competition

Organizer

The organizer of the competition and the entity responsible for data protection is Fachhochschule des BFI Wien GmbH, Wohlmutstraße 22, 1020 Vienna. Fachhochschule des BFI Wien GmbH reserves the right to make changes or additions to the competition or to cancel the competition without prior notice.

Requirements and conditions for participation

Participation in the competition is subject to the terms and conditions of participation. By participating, participants accept these as binding. Participation is voluntary, free of charge, and possible during the period from Thursday, March 7, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 10, 5:00 p.m. as part of the BeSt³ Vienna education fair. The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition in the event of a violation of the conditions of participation, legal regulations, or public decency.

All natural persons with permanent residence in Austria are eligible to participate. Persons who have not yet reached the age of 18 (minors) require the consent of their legal representatives to participate. Employees of the University of Applied Sciences BFI Wien GmbH are excluded from participation.

To participate in the competition, participants must fill out the form embedded on the landing page of the BeSt³ Vienna 2025 competition (provide contact details and answer three questions).

The University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna GmbH is giving away an Apple 13" MacBook Air to the winner.

Determination and notification of winners

The winner will be selected at random from all participants who have fulfilled the conditions of participation and will be notified of their win by email.

Data protection

The University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna GmbH is responsible for data protection in relation to participation in the competition as part of BeSt Vienna 2026. The University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna GmbH respects the privacy of participants. The data provided by participants or winners when entering the competition will be stored and processed by the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna GmbH. Participants expressly consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purpose of awarding the prize. The data collected will not be passed on to third parties at any time, unless this is necessary for the delivery of the prize. The winner's personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary for the distribution of the prize.

Delivery/transfer of the prize and deadline

Delivery/handover will take place either in person by collection at the main location of the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna GmbH or by post and will be agreed in advance with the winner by email.

If the winner does not respond within the period specified in the email, they will forfeit their claim to the prize.

If the contact details provided by the winner are incorrect, the organizer is not obliged to search for the correct details. Any disadvantages resulting from the provision of incorrect contact details shall be borne by the winner. Legal recourse is excluded.
