"New Work - New Business" Summer School

A virtual kick-off meeting on 28.6.2021 (in the evening) is followed by a self-study phase in July and August. You are free to decide when you want to deal with the input in the form of recorded online lectures and small assignments during this time period and to start thinking about the practical project - the development of a digitalisation concept for an Austrian SME.

There will be two evening sessions in the last week of August (24 & 26.8.) where you will discuss - virtually - your findings with the other participants and develop a short concept in interdisciplinary teams that reflects the different perspectives of your team.

Content:

General context of the digital transformation: - Introduction to the VUCA world - Complexity and dynamics of the digital world
Influence of new technologies on business processes: Effects of the new business environment on business models, organisations and people - Discussion of these effects in the context of different needs and requirements
Agile Methods: Overview of Agile working methods and procedures - Teamwork and leadership challenges in the context of digital transformation
