Reading comprehension: understanding simple instructions: recipes, short operating manuals etc., comprehensive and detailed understanding of simply composed, generally informative texts, newspapers and magazines, adverts. Work environment: understanding letters and other documents e.g. complaints, project reports etc. Understanding a company's historical profile and ist products. Listening comprehension: understanding stories and descriptions of familiar topics. Comprehensive and partly detailed understanding of TV broadcast of familiar subjects, when spoken clearly and without background noise. Work environment: comprehensive understanding of a work-related process. Written production: composing simple and personal letters: travel reports, spare time, plans etc. Composing short and simple texts: descriptions, adverts, stories, biographies and letters. Work environment: composing simple correspondence and emails: thank-you letters, requesting information, making claims, etc., composing simple reports. Oral interaction: conducting conversations on topics such as housing, health, hobbies, work. Expressing thoughts, plans, dreams and desires in familiar situations with simple sentence structures. Work environment: having simple conversations on everyday topics in professional situations. Giving and understanding directions. Oral production: narating experiences and past situations. Expressing opinions and preferences on familiar subjects in simple sentences. Work environment: playing back events in the company, representing a company or giving a brief product presentation. (Example: A2 + / B1)
