Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Applied methods including macro and micro levels of teaching. Macro methods are analyses of markets and scenerios and secondary data analysis. Micro methods are keynote lectures and examples. Students work in the plenum. Academic success depends on the presence of the students in the lectures.

Learning outcome

After the successful completion of this course the students will be able to describe detailed national and international key data of the market, market sizes as well as the fields of activity and strategies of film and media enterprises in a macroeconomic context. They will be able to name the most important shareholders and stakeholders in the national and international film and media industry and will possess the methodical skills to competently analyze the European markets and their situation with regard to broadcasting stations, funding, rental and distribution, and in comparison with international markets.
