Cultural diversity as a problem and an opportunity, the concept of culture; comparative cultural studies (Edward T. Hall, Geert Hofstede, Fons Trompenaars, John Mole, Alexander Thomas, Mary Douglas, Robert J House); forms of international staff deployment, communication and negotiation techniques in an intercultural context, leadership and motivation in different cultures; intercultural marketing; conflicts in intercultural contexts; intercultural ethics; intercultural training.

Language of instruction
The competences acquired in the previous modules of the field of management are applied to international business activities and expanded by aspects that are beneficial in this context. On successful completion of this course, students can develop sensitivity to cultural differences and thus - in combination with advanced foreign language skills (especially business English) - communicate with foreign business partners without contradictions and work successfully in another country. The learning outcomes of this course contribute mainly to the following (international) programme learning outcomes: LO 1.2., LO 4.2.
