Learning outcome

At the completion of the module, the students will have a good overview of the extent and boundaries of logistics and get an insight on individual partial sectors or phases and their embeddedness in the operational value added. The students will have a good understanding of the basic functions of logistics (both space and time) and therefore also the supporting logistical functions such as handling, consignment sale etc. Further, possible business models for providing logistical service will have been learned.
