The graduate will have detailed knowledge of and can assess and evaluate system coherence in transportation matters. This is done through the examination of individual components such as the use of open space, transportation demand, the impact of transport and controlling measures as well as their evaluation with the general framework of transportation and economic policies and transport geographical characteristics as backdrops. Furthermore, the graduates will be able to classify these relationships into the general framework of global, regional and supra-national economies as well as transportation geography. Moreover, he or she will be capable of applying the basic economic theories and the general framework of transport geography to certain regions of the world, especially the important growth markets for the Austrian economy.
