French at Work Introducing yourself, introducing someone, describing the professional role, exchanging telephone numbers and e-mail addresses, telephoning, reading and sending messages, writing simple e-mails. Language focus (and grammar) Regular verbs ending in -ER, -IR and -DRE; irregular verbs: être, avoir, aller, devoir, faire, pouvoir, s'appeler; verbs with "ne...pas"; the definite and the indefinite article; interrogative pronouns: quel, quelle; possessive pronouns; stressed pronouns; personal pronouns te and vous; prepositions: à (au/ aux), chez, dans, en; parce que. Assessment methods and criteria

Participation & performance 10%, oral assessment 40% (oral production and interaction 20 points, listening comprehension and regional studies 20 points), written part 50% (reading comprehension 10 points, written production and interaction 20 points, grammar and vocabulary 20 points).
