Internationalisation of Higher Education is a complex phenomen and strongly influenced by the context in which it takes place. Hence, internationalisation of teaching and learning varies in different HE settings yet should always have an impact on the quality of education and on the enhancement of international and intercultural competences of students, graduates and staff.
The Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQuInt) provides a framework to this comprehensive approach, both for programmes and institutions alike; this framework mirrors the concept of “internationalisation of the curriculum” and can serve as “guidebook” for the internationalisation of teaching and learning at Austrian Higher Education Institutions.
This jointly organised event is meant to give insights into the structure and purpose of CeQuInt and how it can be used to facilitate the internationalisation of teaching and learning of higher education institutions and the enhancement of international and intercultural competences for all students and staff.
You should participate in this event if...
... you are interested in quality and internationalisation;
... you want to know more about how you can use the CeQuInt approach when implementing or enhancing internationalisation of teaching and learning.
... you are interested in what other institutions experienced during the CeQuInt accreditation process and how they used the CeQuInt framework to enhance internationalisation of teaching and learning at their institution.
This event will be supported by the city of Vienna as well as the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD-GmbH) and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research with funds of the Erasmus+ Key Action 3 Project „INternationalisation/INclusion/ INnovation: Towards high-quality inclusive mobility and innovative teaching & learning in an internationalised Austrian Higher Education Area“ and the Association of Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences (Oesterreichische Fachhochschul-Konferenz)
