Internationalisation of Higher Education is a complex topic and strongly influenced by the context in which it takes place. Hence, internationalisation of teaching and learning varies in different HE settings yet should always have an impact on the quality of education and on the enhancement of international and intercultural competences of students, graduates and staff.
The Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQuInt) provides a framework to this comprehensive approach, both for programmes and institutions alike, and mirrors the guidelines of the updated Austrian National Strategy for quality mobility and the internationalisation of teaching and learning at Austria HE Institutions* (HMIS) to a large extent.
This jointly organised event is meant to give insights into the structure and purpose of CeQuInt and how it can be used to facilitate the implementation of the new National Strategy at individual higher education institutions.
You should participate in this event if...
... you are interested in quality and internationalisation;
... you want to know more about how you can use the CeQuInt approach when implementing the new National Strategy (HMIS)
... you are interested in what other institutions experienced during the CeQuInt accreditation process and how they used the CeQuInt framework to enhance internationalisation of teaching and learning at their institution
Monday, 27th of April 2020, at UAS BFI Vienna.
Programme and registration information will come up soon and be available here.
This event will be supported by the city of Vienna as well as the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD-GmbH) and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research with funds of the Erasmus+ Key Action 3 Project „INternationalisation/INclusion/ INnovation: Towards high-quality inclusive mobility and innovative teaching & learning in an internationalised Austrian Higher Education Area“ and the Association of Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences (Oesterreichische Fachhochschul-Konferenz)
