Performance Management and Total Rewards

In order to work in an international HRM environment successfully, students work in this lecture on the HR Practices Performance Management & Total Rewards. The focus will be on how to set up and improve performance management, and combine it with a total reward approach that fosters employee motivation, engagement and retention.

Upon completion of this course, students are able to: Design or improve performance management approaches to motivate, engage, and retain employees. Set up company specific salary schemes, allowances and incentive payments. Understand how the volume of total target cash and the structure of the compensation schemes affect the self-selection of prospective employees. Influence on-the-job behaviour by performance pay choose when to apply direct and relative performance pay.
