Der Studierende verfügt nach Abschluss dieser Lehrveranstaltung über ein solides Verständnis der historischen und ökonomischen Entwicklung der Europäischen Union von den Anfängen bis heute. Besonderen Wert wird auf ökonomischen Entwicklungen innerhalb der Europäischen Union in den letzten Jahrzehnten gelegt und die Studenten werden angeregt, einen Blick in die nahe Zukunft zu werfen, basierend auf wirtschaftshistorischen Erkenntnissen.After attending the class the students has a comprehensive knowledge of the historical and economic development of the European Union from the beginning till today. The main focus is on economic developments inside the European Union in the last decades and the students are invited to look at future trends in the European Union based on the economic and historical insight they have gained in the lecture.
