The process management system PROMAS describes all relevant processes at the FH and its interfaces to other processes in flow diagrams. For each activity, you can see who carries it out, who is responsible, who contributes to it, and who is informed about it. Additionally, it is possible to directly select and access relevant process-related documents (directives, drafts etc.).

At present, the process-scape of the FH BFI Vienna comprises

  • two core processes (teaching, research) and
  • seven support and management processes which support the core processes

These nine main processes consist of 44 part-processes, which are in turn sub-divided into many procedural steps.

The process management system is based on a first version of 2004. This version was completely revised from the end of 2007 to mid-2009 and visualised through a standard process management software (ADONIS). The currently valid system version was released for in-house use most recently in the summer of 2012 and is partly published on this homepage (link).
